Let me give you the TL;DR version:
335 rears and 285 fronts? That's meaty. 650hp/650tq? Excellent. Weighs 3500? Excellent. I'll take a Z06 3LZ with Z07 pack please.

what's funny was I saw some posting about it being the "heaviest Corvette ever!" (can't remember where now)
Did they not notice it has 650hp/trq?

I'm all for that, but this thing it going to be a missile, I can't imagine anyone driving one (street or track) that will go - shit this thing is WAY too heavy

Doesn't matter how much power it has, weight effects mamuch more than straight line acceleration.
It gained nearly 400 pounds. That's a lot given the range in which it stands. Not worth the power gain. Especially when N/A is usually preferred on the track anyways. Not like the old LS7 had any problems making a lot more power with simple mods...
Also the previous Z06 already had 325 profile tires. A 335 is barely a half inch wider.
